Luke Evans is a promising quick bowler who made his debut for Durham in 2007 against Sri Lanka A. Off the back of some impressive second XI performances he was named among 54 players (and 17 bowlers) to take part in the ECB's Skill Set Programme at the National Performance Centre in Loughborough. Durham academy manager John Windows expects him to return from this experience a better player and start pushing for a first team place.
