Profile
C Raghu, known to the Karnataka faithful for having a first name synonymous with one of their greats, Chandrasekar, is a middle-order batsman who bowls offspin with the same felicity as one Virender Sehwag. For long, in South Zone circles he has been spoken of as the spin-bowling all-rounder India never had. He's unlikely to break into the squad and despite being among the best one-day cricketers this year, in the Challenger Series, he was picked, but not played. Raghu, however, to veteran talent spotters, is the hard-hitting lower-order bat who can bowl decent offspin. Whether he will be taken seriously enough or not remains to be seen.
