Profile
Mudassar Bukhari is a promising allrounder who has represented the
Netherlands A side several times before his call to the full squad in June
2007. Although he is able to boast Test batsmen like Taufeeq Umar and
Mohammad Hafeez among his victims, he has often had a problem controlling
the new ball and conceded ten wides in nine overs against the Pakistan and
Sri Lanka A sides in 2006. Sometimes used as a pinch-hitter by his club,
VVV, and country, his batting is better suited to the short form of the game
so he is likely to come in at seven or eight in four-day matches. Alan Curr June 2007
