Profile
The second team wicketkeeper at Old Trafford, Cross made a decent impression when he took over from the injured Warren Hegg towards the end of the 2005 season. The signing of Luke Sutton meant there wasn't an immediate promotion to the first team, but his aggressive batting has seen him selected in the one-day game at the top of the order. A prolific scorer in the 2nd XI and a tidy keeper. Andrew McGlashan July 2006
