Jai Prakash Yadav led an effective Railways bowling performance at the Karnail Singh Stadium in Delhi, enabling them to post their second win of the season. Goa's batting woes continued in their second innings, being reduced to 126 for 8, but a swinging 70 from No.10 Saurabh Bandekar, including 12 fours, lifted them to a respectable 229. Railways reached the target of 55 but not without their share of the jitters, losing four wickets before scampering home.

Vidarbha 281 and 151 for 3 (Fazal 79*) beat Madhya Pradesh221 and 210 (Abbas Ali 85, Sandeep 4-47) by 7 wickets
Scorecard

Faiz Fazal's unbeaten 79 steered Vidharbha to a comfortable seven-wicket win on the final day of their clash at Nagpur. Chasing a modest 151, Vidarbha lost three wickets early on but were rescued by a steady stand between Fazal and Alind Naidu. Fazal, who cracked ten fours in his knock, added 72 with Naidu and gave Vidharbha their second win of the season.

Jharkhand 279 and 179 for 5 (Rehman 57*) drew with Orissa 433
Scorecard

A solid batting performance from Jharkhand allowed them to get away with a draw against Orissa at Cuttack. Resuming at 8 for 1, Jharkhand were helped by some steady partnerships through the day. Ratan Kumar and Arun Vidyarthi set the ball rolling with a 52-run stand before Tariq-ur-Rehman's adhesive methods thwarted Orissa. His 141-ball knock acted as a glue for the middle order and Orissa had to settle for two first-innings points from the encounter.

Himachal Pradesh 341 for 8 drew with Tripura 273 (Kale 62, Bhatia 6-61)
Scorecard

Vishal Bhatia's left-arm spinners undid Tripura's batsmen on the final day at Dharamsala, as Himachal Pradesh bagged two first-innings points. Tripura, resuming on 60 for 3, battled through the patient efforts of Abhijit Kale (62) and Timir Chanda (45) but Bhatia broke their promising partnership and triggered a collapse. He went on to claim two more quick wickets and it was only thanks to Tushar Saha's 49 from No.10 that Tripura crossed 250. Bhatia, though, had the final say, mopping up the last two wickets and leading HP to the top of the Group B table.

Services 208 and 337 for 5 dec (Chatterjee 107, Jasvir 71, Yashpal 62*) drew with Jammu & Kashmir 332 and 128 for 4 (Bhatt 52)
Scorecard

Soomik Chatterjee's maiden first-class hundred was complemented by half-centuries from two Singhs - Jasvir and Yashpal - as Services staved off Jammu & Kashmir's challenge at the Palam A Stadium in Delhi. Yashpal's breezy knock, when he managed a 71-ball 62 with the help of six fours and a six, allowed Services to set a challenging target of 214. J&K, who were 79 for no loss after 20.3 overs, threatened to pull off a victory but the fall of four quick wickets forced them to shut shop.
