Turned professional at the age of 16 in Kenya, playing for Sir Ali Muslim Club in Nairobi.
Toured with the Tanzania National team, representing them in Regional and Zonal Tournaments.
Played for UAE for 2 years, selected for provisional 1992 World Cup squad.
Played in the 1997 ICC Trophy for East & Central Africa in Malaysia.
Played in the Derbyshire County league for Youlgreave cricket club during 1998 season.
