A hard-hitting allrounder, Maxwell¹s resurgence in the national team will bring positive results. His imposing 6-foot muscular frame continues to strike fear in the hearts of many Toronto and District Premier Division bowlers as he has a well-earned reputation for simply disregarding convention and knocking the ball out of the park. As a fieldsman he is smooth and very fast in the outfield and has a natural ability to hit the stumps from almost any position. His bowling is deceptive - while his muscular arms may give the impression that he is lightning fast, he is more of a medium pacer. However, his natural accuracy can be counted on in a tense run chase to keep the rate down by consistently bowling on target. (Colin Mohammed 2004; thanks http://www.canadacricket.com)
