Antigua & Barbuda v Pakistanis, Antigua Jacobs to lead against the Pakistanis May 14, 2005
The match on Sunday will be Pakistan's only practice match of the entire tour. The three-match one-day series starts on Wednesday, May 18, in St Vincent, followed by a weekend double-header in St Lucia. The Test series starts in Barbados on May 26. Carl Simon, a fast-medium pacer from Leeward Islands, was delighted to be included. "I was very, very excited to come back and play against Pakistanis," he told reporters on Thursday. "It is a great opportunity to play against a top team in the world like Pakistan and I'm looking forward to that game on Sunday. I'm in very good shape. I've played one game since I was away. I've been doing a lot of exercise and running." Simon took 34 wickets at 25 runs apiece for Leewards, who finished second in the Carib Beer Series.
