Raina hit 11 fours and three sixes, and put on 139 in 22 overs with Gambhir, but both survived relatively simple chances off Mashrafe bin Mortaza: Gambhir was dropped by Farhad Reza at point when 56, while Raina, on 16, was put down by Mahmudullah at fine leg. Earlier Kapali had hit the accelerator after reaching 47 from 64 balls: he hit four of his next 11 deliveries for six, and his last 68 runs took just 32 balls. His 86-ball hundred was Bangladesh's fastest in one-day internationals.
