Back-to-back wins for Hong Kong over the Cricket NSW Academy XI

Hong Kong beat the Cricket NSW Academy XI by 27 runs and 4 wickets in back-to-back T20 matches in Sydney.

Hong Kong have notched back-to-back victories over the Cricket NSW's Academy XI in the two T20 matches played at Blacktown International Sportspark today.
In the morning match, Hong Kong batted first and posted 7-140 from their 20 overs with Jamie Atkinson (37) and Moner Ahmed making useful contributions. In reply, the CNSW Academy XI were restricted to 7-113 with Nadeem Ahmed (3-18) and Moner Ahmed (3-17) picking up three wickets each.
In the afternoon match, the Cricket NSW Academy XI batted first and they set an imposing total of 3-163 from their 20 overs. But Atkinson and his team were up to the task, scoring the wining runs from the last ball of the 20th over for the loss of 6 wickets. Atkinson once again lead the way with 62 from 49 balls while Irfan Ahmed (40 from 33) and Waqas Barkat (19 from 14) were the other main run-scorers for Hong Kong.
After the two wins, a happy Charlie Burke tweeted "Good win in both games today, pleasing to chase over 160. Have improved a lot but must really cash in tomorrow and finish the tour well!"
