ICC Africa Development Seminar

ICC-Africa's fourth and final annual development seminar took place in Benoni near Johannesburg last weekend. Central and Southern African countries sent their representatives to the seminar which proved to be positive and rewarding. Delegates from Namibia, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Lesotho, Botswana, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda shared their experiences of the year's activities.

Each country tabled its progress report and discussed the following matters inter alia: Finance, High Performance, participation, good governance and planning.

ICC-Africa's Development Manager said it was imperative for these countries to meet on a regular basis. "We would like to meet regularly, but the finances are always a stumbling block. It was important for us to share the experiences and map out the way forward.

"I believe the delegates will return to their respective homes and implement what was discussed at the seminar".

The next seminar will be held next year.
