1. Vijay falls to Harris: India had got their fourth day to a decent start, with the overnight partnership between M Vijay and Sachin Tendulkar had extended to 72 when Vijay top-edged a sweep shot. S Badrinath followed soon after.
2. Tendulkar falls to Harris: Tendulkar's century had given India hopes, and along with MS Dhoni he negotiated 22.5 overs. But soon after reaching his century, he was done in by slight extra bounce on the sweep shot. Dhoni followed soon after.
3. Zaheer falls to Kallis: Parnterships of 50 and 59 between Wriddhiman Saha and Harbhajan Singh, and then Saha and Zaheer Khan had brought India to within seven of avoiding the innings defeat. A hoick against Jacques Kallis ended Zaheer's innings, and Dale Steyn came back to roll over the others.
