The King Commission of Inquiry into match-fixing will resume its public hearings at 10am on January 25, according to a media release issued on Monday.
The release ends speculation that the commission would be closed down following the life ban imposed on former South African captain Hansie Cronje.
It is likely to Cronje will be recalled to give further evidence while South African team officials such as Robbie Muzzell, Goolam Rajah and Bob Woolmer may also be called to give evidence on what they knew of the team-meeting in Bombay in 1996 when Cronje conveyed a $250 000 offer to throw a one-day game against India to the South Africans.
