West Indies World Cup venues to be announced

The ICC will announce the eight venues chosen to host ICC Cricket World Cup West Indies 2007 matches this Monday (5 July) in London.

The ICC will announce the eight venues chosen to host ICC Cricket World Cup West Indies 2007 matches this Monday (5 July) in London.
Media are invited to attend the announcement at 3pm in the Denis Compton Suite at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in St John's Wood.
ICC President Mr Ehsan Mani and West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) President Mr Teddy Griffiths will announce the eight successful venues via an audio-visual presentation.

MEDIA NOTES:
(1) The format of the media conference involves a visual presentation which will be projected onto a large screen, highlighting the successful venues.
Camera feeds from the projector will be available. Media with high-quality cameras should however also be able to capture a screen grab of the graphics from the projector.
(2) Details of the specific matches to be played at the eight venues will be announced on 13 July in the Caribbean.
(3) Limited car parking is available at the Ramada Plaza Hotel at £2.50 per hour. Outside broadcast vans can park in the surrounding side streets.
The Hotel is across the road from Lord's Cricket Ground, and the nearest tube stations are St John's Wood or Baker Street.
(4) The media centre at Lord's Cricket Ground will be open for media wishing to file after the press conference. Media will require accreditation to enter the ground (please contact Clare Skinner at the MCC to obtain a pass on 020 7616 8522 or clare.skinner@mcc.org.uk).
Media should also be aware that security checks will occur at the gates due to the One-Day International fixture between England and the West Indies at Lord's the following day (Tuesday 6 July).
