Profile
Adrian Barath, a right-hand opening batsman, is considered to be one of the most promising young batting talents in the West Indies. He made his first-class debut for Trinidad and Tobago in 2007 and impressed by scoring 73 against Guyana. His skills caught Brian Lara's attention and Barath was invited by Lara to attend a function at Lord's honouring his record-breaking contribution to the game. Barath harbours ambitions of making West Indies the best team in the world once again. Cricinfo staff February 2008
