The Australian Cricket Academy took an unbeatable 2-0 lead in their series over the Zimbabwe Board XI with a powerful 201-run victory in the second match at Harare.
After amassing 309 for 1 in the opening encounter, the Australian batting was again in sparkling form as they raced to 363 for 8 in their 50 overs. This time it was George Bailey who led the way with 116 while Aaron Finch, who played at the Under-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka, hit 61 and Adam Voges 52.
In reply the Board XI batting struggled and they were rolled over in the 36th over for just 162. Cham Chibhabha top-scored with 42, while Brendan Drew finished with 3 for 19 off seven overs. The teams meet in the final match on Sunday.
