Thank you for your company and feedback. This is Rvel Zahid signing off. Goodnight

Ben Dunk, Player of the Match: Supersub is an interesting concept. I think I've had my intent but just picked out fielders with my high risk options. Hopefully we will keep the momentum moving forward. David hasn't scored the runs but he is a great influence. Even having Jason and Rovman down there, world class players, they got it done. Not nervous at the start, but got a bit sweaty and nervous when it was two from two, he bowled a hell of a last over in all fairness.

Colin Munro, Desert Vipers Captain: Lost with my batting (chuckles), top order did very well. I thought they bowled really really well with change-ups. It was tough throughout middle, Adam Hose got us to 170 (played a great knock). Ben Dunk turned back the clock, played beautifully. Credit goes to them, I think they bowled really well upfront. They used the conditions better than us tonight. Such a small margin in this game. Everyone is putting the effort in training. When we won it last year, everything went in our way...right now some things are going against us

David Warner, Dubai Capitals Captain: Really important win, we wanted to bowl first and belief in our change room was chasing and it suits (us). I think we were calm and composed and guys got the job done. I'm pretty calm and relaxed out there. We got some back to back wickets which is important in this game. I still haven't found my rhythm, I'm not worried about myself, we need winning partnerships; we have shown glimpses and we need to take that powerplay on.

Another low-scoring thriller in the ILT20 as Dubai Capitals edge past Desert Vipers and climb to the second spot in the table. This will be a tough pill to swallow for Desert Vipers as they languish at the bottom of the table but the bowling wasn't just good enough, and their ace pacer Shaheen Afridi led them down in this crucial match. Nevertheless, a terrific game of cricket that brought us to the edge of our seats. Got to feel for Pathriana, who was magnificent in the field and bowled his heart out as well - a 10 out 10 game for him. Desert Vipers scrapped their way to a fighting total of 169 but couldn't seize the big moments with the bowl and end up on the losing side.

Jrm: "Shaheen actually lost the game for vipers... pathirana should have bowled the penultimate over" I agree with you, shouldn't go for the reputation of a bowler and instead trusted Pathirana who was on top of his game tonight, Munro missed the trick there

Pathirana to Holder, 1 run

Charging in and another pitch-perfect yorker right at the stumps, plinks it out to Hasaranga at midwicket and once again a direct hit would have been a goner, could have been so much fun if we had a super over but not to be, excellent bowling from Pathirana as Holder holds his nerve and sprints to the other as Capitals just get over the line

Will there be a Super Over?

Kevin: "West Indies doing the job against Pakistan here.."

1
Pathirana to Powell, 1 run

Another heat-seeking yorker right into the blockhole, shovels it back to the bowler who hunts it down in his follow-through towards his left, Pathirana, you beauty, he has been so impressive tonight, 1 off 1

Faisal : "It's really heart breaking to see Shaheen down fall in such young age, he should take rest and work on his fitness otherwise things going to bad to worst for him..."

19.4
Pathirana to Powell, no run

Fast and furious wide full length ball arcing away and very close to the marker on off, Powell wants to review this but you are not permitted to review a wide or a no-ball, correct call from the umpire, 2 from 2

19.3
Pathirana to Powell, no run

Another stunning yorker on leg, keeps it out to short midwicket, Pathirana has been sensational today with his fielding and bowling

19.2
1
Pathirana to Holder, 1 run

packed off-side field. Pathirana with a searing yorker and he swipes it down to Munro who rockets a throw at non-striker's end, direct hit would have been curtains, he could have taken more time to aim at the stumps, perilously close to the stumps

Shahzeb: "Watching Warner giving tips to youngsters in the dugout is amazing! Bring him to PSL, please!!! "

Mani Babar: "I have become so emotionally attached to this team because of Shaheen and Amir. Now they are about to lose ):"

Pathirana will bowl the last over, only got four to defend

Watching the ball like a hawk and squeezes the yorker to backward point, rushes to the other end

1
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Powell, 1 run

Slow tennis ball bumper on middle and leg, diagonal bat jab in front of deep midwicket, Shaheen's tactics not working tonight, not much pace behind the bumpers and strayed a touch on the leg side

18.5
1
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Holder, 1 run

Another in-angler back of a length pace off delivery, carted imperiously to deep square and settles for a run, just a hit away from a win

18.4
4
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Holder, FOUR runs

Clean as a whistle! Holder is a tall man and likes short stuff angled at him, splays his front foot out of the way and jauntily heaves it towards deep midwcket boundary and nearly seals the game, lovely little cameo from former West Indies skipper

18.3
4
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Holder, FOUR runs

Shaheen no longer as menacing as he used to be in the death. Hurls a bumper on middle and leg, he takes on the short ball and swings as hard as he can, ball flies away over keeper's head and sped away for four

18.2
1
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Powell, 1 run

Fuller in his hitting arc and he shanks it disdainfully to long on who blocks the rocket

18.1

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Powell, FOUR runs

Round the wicket, pitched up on leg, he likes on the ball and smacks it past deep midwcket for a thunderous boundary, one bounce over the rope

Amir to Powell, 1 run

Lots of effort behind that yorker as he grunts, it's on leg stump line, late on the tickle as square leg comes in to pick up the ball

17.5
Amir to Powell, no run

Tad short and whizzing away outside off, quicker delivery, goes for the cut and misses, Powell thought it was a wide but that was just fractionally inside the tramline

17.4
1
Amir to Holder, 1 run

Touch short on middle and leg, tucked to the leg side and Amir intercepts the ball but can't prevent them from pinching a single, slipping away quickly from Vipers

17.4
1w
Amir to Holder, 1 wide

Good length, curving away outside off, Amir is not amused by that wide call, looked wide on the replay

17.3
1
Amir to Powell, 1 run

Pitched up on leg, worked to deep backward square, Amir needs to strike in this over to keep Vipers in the game

17.2
Amir to Powell, no run

Hits the surface hard on a short length and gets it to climb, he keeps his bat down and watches it sail away from his head into the keeper's mitts

Over the wicket, pace off length ball on off, eased to third man
