Thanks for joining us. It's time for me, Rvel Zahid, to say goodbye on behalf of Binoy George. Join us tomorrow for the doubleheader!

6 for 9 for Netravalkar! He was the key protagonist of the win but don't forget Phillips' spellbinding catches that played a huge part in this convincing win for Washington Freedom. 134 wasn't a very daunting total on this tricky wicket but maybe just enough on this track that had plenty of assistance for the bowlers. It was a tremendous bowling performance from Freedom who were bowling gas and extracting bounce, nailing their lines and lengths. The day belongs to Netravalkar though who picked up wickets at will and created a lot of panic in his first spell, overshadowing Haris Rauf's spell but you got to question Unicorns approach in this chase who seemed too turgid and didn't pick the right balls to attack. They could have rotated the strike more to get closer to the target when the power-hitting wasn't working.

Netravalkar, Player of the Match: "Not sunk yet. Feeling very blessed to get this opportunity. The team has created a great environment and I am enjoying it. We fight till the end, I didn't think about hattrick and was trying to bowl my best balls, got support from the fielders, some brilliant catches by Glenn."

Finch: "I think our bowlers did quite well. It was a reasonable score on this wicket. It was always going to be a tough pitch with wicket deteriorating like that. I thought after we loss four wickets, we should have got a partnership but I wasn't able to put any pressure back on."

Henriques: Closer to worry (on the toss). I was happy I was able to bowl without much dew. Obviously it wasn't an easy wicket to bat on. If we look back as a batting group, we could have found 10 15 more runs, maybe we didn't adjust to the conditions as well as we should have. We could have taken smarter options and made it easier for our bowlers. If Sourabh didn't take six wickets, Philips is the man of the match for me. The catches he took to get rid of Wade and Finn, they were huge strikes at that moment and got us the much needed momentum. It just shows how important fielding is, his effort was done with bat but he was charging down in the field."

Netravalkar to Plunkett, OUT

On a short length, just shaping away from the batter, a lovely line, draws an edge that goes into the keeper's mitts. Sixth wicket for Netravalkar, what a performance!

Netravalkar to le Roux, 1 run

Good length around the line off, pulled away merrily in the air and Nortje drops it at midwicket region, swooping to his left, got his fingers to the ball but couldn't cling on

Netravalkar to Haris Rauf, OUT

Fourth catch for Phillips and a fifer for Netravalkar! Lovely ball, hitting the deck hard and getting it lift, Haris flexes his biceps and goes for the pull but finds the fielder at deep midwicket

Netravalkar to Bishnoi, OUT

The pick of the bowlers does it again! It's the fourth wicket for Netravalkar as this length ball was nibbling away outside off, he tries to play a paddle sweep and gets a faint edge through to the keeper. Arms aloft and he loves it!

Good comeback from the bowler. On a shorter length and meandering away outside off, ball bobbles towards mid-off

Nortje to Bishnoi, SIX runs

Slammed a six! Now that's a proper wallop! A touch short and too straight, gets into a nice position and carts it away over square leg for a maximum.

18.4
Nortje to Bishnoi, no run

Swings for the grandstand but misses! Short, quick, fizzing through on tight off stump line

Nortje to Bishnoi, no run

Fraction short on off, tries to get underneath and pull that away but gets beaten slightly by the pace and defends it in front of square

Henriques drops it at short midwicket, it was hit imperiously and it's not easy catching those with floodlights on even though it's still quite dark

Arrows it in from over the wicket, bangs it on a short length and gets it to climb off the deck with a hint of nibble outside off, can't connect

Bashes a back of a length delivery wide of off, clears his front leg and heaves it over cover, Phillips, who else?, gets in action, covers a lot of ground and pings a sharp throw, takes his fielding very seriously; a delight for any captain

Jansen to Anderson, OUT

Takes the aerial route again and it's Phillips again! He has been exceptional in the field today, I think it's his third catch. Banged in short around middle, goes for the full-blooded pull, nearly got all of it, Phillips was sitting deep close to the rope at midwicket and hangs onto it brilliantly. He is over the moon, this match shows how important is fielding, he has lifted his team with some breathtaking catches.

Off-cutter around the line middle and off, full swing of the bat and it's hit delightfully for a six. That was soaring hight into the air, up and up and eventually coming down in the stands over square leg
