Kagiso Rabada is named the player of the match. "Every run at the death was crucial to defend. Unfortunately, it didn't go our way. We didn't want to think too much about last year. This year we were much tighter as a group. But unfortunately inexperience played its part., No one's blaming anyone but we're playing patchy cricket and not putting together consistent performances." Believes the Durban Super Giants are the strongest side.
"Great performance from us," Parnell says. "Really impressive from the bowling and batting group." He agrees that 163 was a shade below par, saying the Capitals would have been happy with anything under 175. "To restrict them to less than that was good." Praises de Bruyn and Muthuswamy.
